Main Description
Beautiful log chalet with outdoor hot tub facing the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains and backing onto a natural wilderness where wildlife traditional to the area may be seen. The chalet features a huge log fireplace and offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
It is an 11 year established operation, pioneering the chalet holiday concept in these regions of Western Canada. It is an owner operated chalet providing the highest of quality. This may be reflected in the repeat customer base of 68-72% annually.
A huge highlight is the GUIDING offered. This is a unique service offered only to Canadian Powder Tours guests. Off piste and secret terrain otherwise unknown are the key to the guiding.

Kitchen Description
Kitchen is open plan so you can sit and chat to your chef as they put together your gourmet meals. Receipe books have been created due to the high demand from chalet guests.

The atmosphere is very relaxed, guests treat the chalet like their home and the chef and chalet helpers provide friendly and proffessional service.

Lounge Description
The lounge is open from the dining area so that the huge log fireplace can be seen and admired at all times. Plenty of comfortable couches and chairs are situated in the lounge with some big antique Oriental carpet bag cushions and comfortable cushioned floor seating.

The chalet is decorated with many traditional Canadian art features as well as artifacts from years of travelling. Tasteful Turkish carpets and hand crafted log furnishing make this room unique and relaxing

Dining Room Description
The dining table is a major feature , along with all the counter tops in the Kitchen and bar area. It is one long tree aged at approximately 500 years old, it seats 16 people comfortably.
The table is laid everynight with colourful napkins and has a beautiful vine plant as a feature above it. The chalet is very colourful and has many interesting artifacts, photography and hangings from all around the World. Throughout the chalet the floors are old growth fir and created from one West Coast tree.

Bedroom Description
All the bedrooms are large. Either twin or queen beds. All have wardrobes, shelving , bedside lamps, down douvets , towels, full length mirrors,tastefully decorated.

Other Details
The chalet is very spacious and very "Canadian" with it log touches and old growth wood finishings. There are great snowshoe and cross country trails from the chalet door along the Elk River with stunning views.

Discounts are available on ski passes.
