Chalet le Joyau's accommodation is on two floors, with a separate entrance on each level. It is furnished to the highest standards in an unfussy, contemporary style and is generously equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. For those looking for the ultimate in luxury, the chalet is also available on a catered basis. We have teamed up with a local chef and are able to offer a fully personalised service ranging from family meals through to haute cuisine. Menus and prices are available on request. Entering from the front garden, a few metres back from the quiet Route de Bernoud, the entrance hall and cloakroom lead into a big open plan sitting/dining room and fully fitted kitchen, with windows and balconies on three sides offering stunning views over the Rhone Valley. Downstairs are the three bedrooms and main bathroom as well as the large locale storage area - perfect for skis and boots and with its own access to the garden and the great outdoors. Kitchen Description The kitchen contains all the pots, pans and utensils you are likely to need and will usually have a collection of herbs, spices, cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar and other non-perishables. Lounge Description The top floor is largely comprised of the open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen. Two sofas, a TV, DVD and stereo make up the seating area, with a wood burning stove adding extra cosiness. French windows open onto the balcony. The dining area easily seats six, with the table extending to accommodate more if required. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes fridge, dishwasher and ceramic hob. There is a WC off the entrance hall/cloakroom. For those unable to leave the outside world behind, the chalet is also connected to broadband which guests are free to use with their own computer equipment.The stone staircase leads down to the lower floor (a stairgate is available for guests with small children). Bedroom Description Bedroom 1 is a comfortable double with fully shuttered french windows opening onto the rear garden. Bedroom 2 is a twin, also with doors out to the garden, and the third bedroom has bunkbeds. The bathroom has a WC, sink and bath with powerful shower. Under-floor heating is fitted throughout the accommodation. Other Details The locale has a large 'wet' area for skis and boots.
